Enjoy Getxo before and after your cruise, staying at one of our hotels or guest houses only 5 minutes from the cruise ship dock.

Here at the Getxo Tourism Office we have designed a package to meet the needs of the cruise passenger who would like to arrive at Getxo before boarding, and enjoy a peaceful beginning to the cruise, without rush or hurry. We also have an offer for the end of your cruise on terra firma where you can the opportunity to do some shopping and enjoy the fine food.

The package includes:

• One night of accommodation with breakfast in a hotel or guest house.
• Discounts on pre-cruise and post-cruise taxi trips (with prior booking)(1).
• Check-in/out: Special check-in & check out hours.
• VAT not included.

(1) The taxi trip to and from the Cruise Dock offered in this package takes approximately 10 minutes. The package offers a discount of 5 Euros each way by taxi. Furthermore, if you arrive by car we provide information on how to get here and on parking facilities and rates.

Booking for two nights (not necessarily consecutive) includes free tickets for the Puente Bizkaia, Getxo Aquarium and a discounted tour by taxi, Taxi Tour “Coastline and architecture” (20 min.) or  “Getxo in detail” (90 min.).

• Payments shall be made directly to hotels, guest houses and taxis, presenting the booking or the cruise boarding pass.

Other tourism services

• Half-Day : El Abra (Getxo). from Friday to Sunday. 4 hours. 10:00-14:00 or 16:00-20:00.  € 50. 
  Throughout the year.

• Getxo Bizi Bicycle rental: Automatic service: 12 pick-up and drop-off points. Hours: Every day from 06.45 to 21.00 hours. Price: €2/full day (payment by credit card at any pick-up point).
